Even though this satirical video is very funny, it might piss off the straight girl who was mad about the She Said, She Said episode where we discussed gay men and straight girls.

What do you think? Are TV execs obsessed with gay guys and their straight girl bestfriends.

Music at the end of this show: When the World Turned Off Its Lights – by Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles

Have you ever received a letter from a long-lost friend that brought back dozens of happy (or not so happy) memories? Have you ever found a box full of old pictures and letters in your attic? If you’ve ever experienced either one of these events, then you know the kind of emotions Lamar Ariel’s novel Ready to Male invokes in its readers.

Ariel presents candid memories of his life in 109 pages of dramatic and intense storytelling in 33 letters to family members, friends, strangers, exlovers and future lovers. I laughed while reading his letter “Dear Because I Said So,” cried while reading the letter “Dear You Said You Loved Me” and shook my head while reading “Dear Nice Guy.”

Ariel’s readers watch him live, love and learn as he desperately attempts to understand himself and the world around him. Every Ready to Male reader will see a reflection of himself (or herself) in this book and it doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, Black or white, gay or straight.

I just finished prep work for two radio shows this afternoon. I was distracted by Erin Foley. I’d love to do interview her:

Hear more from Erin Foley.

My partner and I had so much fun at the gay pride celebration in Madison, WI yesterday. We were there with one of my really good friends, Gina. It was nice to watch my girl get along so well with my friend. We all spent some time talking to Vickie Shaw – who was sitting next to us under the big tent while she waited for her set to start. Vickie’s comedy set was great! After she finished, God-Des and She took the stage. They rocked!

You can listen to all the highlights here. We have exclusive audio that includes about 20 minutes of God-Des and She’s live performance.

Tonight on SistersTalk Radio, we aired a previously recorded podcast hosted by hilarious lesbian couple Puff and Sip.

This lovely lesbian couple will make you laugh and laugh. They introduce their show by talking about their son’s little league game and end the show with a discussion about lesbians deciding to have a baby together. I laughed and laughed the entire show.
