Award Winning Indie Musician Avi Wisnia

Avi Wisnia is the winner of the 2009 OutMusic Awards Outsanding Jazz Song award.

Avi presents an eclectic mix of refreshingly original songs, finding inspiration in classic Brazilian bossa nova, acoustic American folk, 1950’s west-coast jazz, and contemporary pop. Co-author Nancy Manahan joined us on SistersTalk Radio to discuss the book. We also discussed the challenges spiritual people often feel as they attempt to reconcile their religious beliefs with their sexual orientation.
