10,000 Couples is an online magazine dedicated to celebrating, affirming and strengthening the commitment of gay and lesbian couples to one another and to their relationships. It is designed to provide a wide-angle view of information for and inspirational portrayals of same-gender couples in committed relationships in all their forms.

The creators hope their magazine will impact positive decision-making and feelings by and between gay and lesbian couples. In so doing, they hope to gather strength, inspire young couples still finding each other and destroy the distorted and distorting imagery so often used to diminish same-sex couples.

10,000 Couples visitors have access to news, blogs, events and a community forum.

Delena Wilkerson is the publisher and editor of 10,000 Couples magazine. Over the past 25 years Delena has published many articles, edited a national newsletter, and been both author and editor of several how-to books on financial management for nonprofits.  Some of these experiences might even help with this latest venture.  For certain, her experiences at the helm of a local nonprofit organization taught her how to get the job done with minimal resources.  She is a graduate of Livingstone College in North Carolina and the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration.
