The verdict is in. Carrie Prejean gets to keep her Miss California crown, even though semi-nude pictures of Prejean have surfaced on the internet.

Donald Trump has decided there’s nothing wrong with Prejean’s semi-nude photos. He said, “We’ve made a determination that the pictures taken were acceptable, they were fine, in many cases they were actually lovely pictures, and in some cases they were modeling pictures.”

Whatever.

If Prejean wants to pose nude (and get breast enhancements) that’s her business. I don’t think that should make her lose her crown. I don’t even believe her anti-gay marriage stance should cause her to lose her crown either. She has the right to her opinion – no matter how dumb I believe that opinion is.

What really annoyed me is this:

Prejean also said other pictures of her that have emerged online were Photoshopped, and became tearful as she recounted her grandfather fighting in World War II to protect her Constitutional rights. “I exercised my freedom of speech and I was punished for doing so,” [bold emphasis is mine] she said.

That bimbo (yes, I called her a bimbo! ) has forgotten how many gays and lesbians also fought for her freedom of speech. Either Prejean has forgotten (or she never knew, ‘cuz she’s just kinda dumb like that) how many gays and lesbians are serving in the US military, or she doesn’t give a shit. For Prejean, homosexual soldiers don’t deserve full and equal treatment under the law – even though people like her are exercising privileges they wouldn’t have without us.
