Anti-Gay AFA Says Hate Crimes Bill Protects Pedophiles

Last week, the anti-gay organization AFA sent out an email claiming the new hate crimes bill would make incest a legally protected act. This week, the AFA is spreading even more lies.

Today, I received an email from the AFA that claims the new hate crimes bill will provide “special protection status to pedophiles.” [see screen capture here]. The email states the following about S. 909 of the hate crimes bill:

The U.S. Senate is set to give legally protected status to pedophiles and 30 other sexual orientations. The Senate refused to define what is meant by sexual orientation in S. 909, the “Hate Crimes” bill. This means that the 30 different sexual orientations will be federally protected classes.

When will these religious nutcases learn that just because one is a homosexual does mean one is a pedophile?

And when will these gay-hate groups start focusing their attention on real pedophiles (like priests in the Catholic church?)
