AdamMale.com, the most recognized gay sex toy and gay sex video site on the web is taking a bold stand to promote safe gay sex by dropping bareback titles from its product line.

“We originally started selling modern bareback sex video titles in 2006 because it seemed our customers were demanding it,” said Molly Fisher, Director of ECommerce for AdamMale.com “It never made sense within the standards we set for our brand to sell videos that glamorize unsafe sex practices.”

“Additionally, HIV/AIDS prevention through condom use has become an easy practice in modern gay adult sex films and we feel there is no reason to continue to put gay adult film stars at risk. We would like to apologize publicly to the gay community and gay sex industry for what was clearly a misstep in the history of our company. AdamMale will continue to be an organization that actively encourages fun, safe sex through its charitable contributions, its products, and its marketing.”

Founded in 1997, Adam Male is a subsidiary of Adam and Eve and distributes gay sex toys, gay sex videos, and sex accessories for gay men. A portion of each sale made at Adam Male goes to charities including those that promote HIV prevention and safe sex education.

Amy Brian served 9 years in the Kansas Army National Guard and she served in the Iraq war. Brian was recently discharged from the military under Clinton’s DADT policy when a civilian co-worker reported that they had watched Brian kissing another woman in the Wal-Mart checkout line.

Karma’s a bitch. That civilian co-worker will get what’s coming. That’s some serious negative energy.

I’m a Gulf War veteran. Dubya’s re-election in 2004 really hit me hard because I believe Dubya and all his cronies don’t give a shit about all the gays and lesbians who have served in the military for decades. The fact that Dubya used gay marriage as a wedge issue during the 2004 election made me really dislike this country and the 62 million dumbass Americans who voted for him.

Brian is one of 12,500 lesbian and gay servicemembers discharged between 1994 and 2007. I’m sure there are thousands more still in hiding – waiting for a nosey co-worker to run her mouth. Hopefully, Obama’s recent pause on repealing DADT will be extremely short.

If you missed tonight’s live interview with God-Des & She, you missed a great show! But don’t worry, you can listen to the podcast now (or download it and listen later).

Hear God-Des discuss the challenges the duo faces in the music industry. I think you’ll be surprised to learn where those challenges come from.

You’ll enjoy this duo’s amazing energy and fantastic sense of humor, plus you’ll be surprised to learn who some of their favorite musical artists are.

Am I the only person who thinks this story will be rilin’ up radical feminists anyday now? The unmarried, depressed, and disabled mother of 6 who gave birth to 8 newborns is getting all kinds of grief – and rightfully so:

There has to be some question,” says CBS News Legal Analyst Trent Copeland, “about whether or not a woman who’s disabled and collecting over $150,000 worth of disability payments is really authorized to receive those payments if she’s too disabled to work, but not too disabled to have at least a half-dozen children.”

There were also mental health issues, Kauffman reports. Suleman was labeled as being at some risk for suicide, and diagnosed with a “depressive disorder.”

The octuplets’ birth last week and subsequent disclosure that Suleman is a single mother who already had six children – all by in-vitro fertilization – prompted a torrent of criticism and ethical questions about why she would want so many children, why a doctor would implant that many embryos and how she would care for her family.

If this was a Black woman . . . wait. Nevermind. There ain’t a doctor in the world who would implant that many embryos in a depressed single Black mother of 6 who has back problems and is living with her Mama.

Do I hear the radical feminists coming to her defense and claiming this woman has the right to breed her very own small town anytime she wants? Will they defend her claiming a male-dominated society made her feel like her self-worth is associated with her child-bearing skills? Yep! They probably will.

Advertising dollars must be tanking in conservative talk radio because Rush Limbaugh is diggin’ up old unsubsantiated rumors that Senator Barbara Boxer wants to do away with conservative talk radio. Limabugh’s attempt to create a stir and piss off uninformed conservatives is his way of pushing his way back to center stage. In response to Limbaugh’s hysteria, a WorldNetDaily Fairness Doctrone Petition is making its rounds on the internet.

Free online radio services – like BlogTalkRadio.com – have snagged a significant amount of radio advertising dollars. Anybody with an opinion, internet access and a phone can start their own radio show. This means people like Rush Limbaugh now have to compete with hundreds of other talk radio show hosts for scarce advertising dollars.

Guess that means Rush might need to find other ways of paying for his drug habit.

NPR recently announced layoffs “as part of a broader effort by the company to close a projected budget shortfall of $23 million for its current fiscal year.” If NPR is suffering, you can bet your ass Limbaugh’s show is struggling financially as well. Hopefully, it’s just a matter of time before Limbaugh sees the unemployment line.

Today I received a press release announcing a joint venture between the National Black Justice Coalition and Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). The press release was distributed by GLAAD, so I’m guessing this is most likely an attempt on GLAAD’s part to appear receptive to the needs of queer Black Americans. Hey, better late than never, right? In response, I posted a snide remark in my Twitter update stream. I couldn’t help it. I ain’t cuttin’ those bitches no kinda slack.

Just a few minutes before the GLAAD press release appeared, I noticed Kathy Belge (Lesbian Life Guide on About.com) made a blog post about black lesbians in history. Woot! Woot! The post is a bit sparse, so head on over and give her a hand if you like.

About 5 minutes ago, I noticed Queers United responded to my snippy Twitter update by sending me a link to their Black History Month post.

It’s definitely nice to see that Black History month isn’t flying under the white queer community’s radar. That’s a sign of good things to come.

But wait. Monica at Transgriot might disagree. We still might have a ways to go.

Yep! I saw this coming weeks ago.

Etta James said she was pissed that Beyonce sang her song At Last during Obama’s inauguration celebration – “She’s gonna get her ass whooped.”

Yeah, I knew that. I said it. Just because she’s Beyonce, doesn’t mean she should be singing At Last.

Personally, I’m still wondering why they didn’t have Etta James sing the song herself.

Update: Feb. 6 – Etta says I was just kidding.

I just re-discovered this video in my MySpace comments thread. I love me some beautiful, flamboyant and hilarious drag queens (it’s the cranky ugly ones who get on my nerves).

B. Scott, author of the video blog LoveBScott.com created the following video asking his viewers to weigh in on the questions: (a) what’s the age limit for breastfeeding and (b) is it appropriate to breastfeed in public?

I breastfed my children until they were about a year old. Some people say children wean themselves off breast milk at the age of 2 or 3.

Breastfeeding in public? I have mixed feelings about this. Yeah, yeah – call the feminism police.

This Charmed episode addresses the breastfeeding in public issue as well:
