Honestly, I’ve heard Karaoke singers do a better job at the song “At Last.” Beyonce should stick to what she does best: pop dance music.
It was still a pleasure to watch President and First Lady Obama dance to a beautiful song.
Update: A Twitter buddy informed me that Etta James, the original performer of ‘At Last’ is still alive. It’s our opinion that she should’ve performed the song. Here’s what the original version sounds like:

I have to disagree with you on this one. I totally loved it. Perhaps I am still so caught up in watching them dance but to me it was the perfect moment. If nothing else it was 100% better than listening to Aretha while she wore that hideous hat.
I’m not a Beyonce fan and the song will never sound better than when Etta James did it.
But what I think and what you think doesn’t mean crap in this context. We didn’t buy a ticket to a concert or tune into a broadcast, and unlike the prayer, this wasn’t a civil rights issue. It was the Obamas first dance. It was their issue.
I’ve been to three weddings where this was sung live. What I thought of the bride and groom’s choice of singer meant bupkis. pretty much the same here, imho.
She did what the Obamas (via their people) requested/approved of.
For the record, I thought she did a decent job, better than what she did in the movie.
